Question
Troubleshoot unspecified notification eventsProblem: If you experience any of the following, you will
need to update the Keyword Phrase of an alerted notification event in
Notice Me to correspond with the new wording provided by the court:
- View a calendar event labeled Notice Me Alert - Unspecified event
type.
- Receive an email alert labeled Notice Me Alert - Unspecified
event type.
Solution:
- To open the event details window, choose one of the following:
- From your Google calendar, double-click the event
tag Notice Me Alert - Unspecified event type.
- From your email account, open the email alert and
click More event details>> at the bottom of the box.
- Review the event details and identify the event type.
- In the main menu bar, select Setup>Event Notification Setup from the menu.
- In the left pane of the Event Notification Setup window, select
the event type you want to troubleshoot.
- In the Event Notification Setup window, compare the text of the Keyword Phrase with that in the Description of the event
details window. If different, do the following in the Description text box:
- Place a comma after the existing keyword phrase and
add the new wording to the list. Then, click Apply to save your changes.
- Create a user-defined event notification and use
the new keyword phrase.
- Click OK to close the Event Notification Setup
window.
All future event notifications of this type will be posted using this
keyword phrase.
- To update the information in the unspecified event on your calendar, do the
following:
- Go to the Notice Me Alert event on your calendar.
- Double-click the alert tag Notice Me Alert -
Unspecified event type to open the event details window.
- In the What field, replace Notice Me Alert
- Unspecified event type with the correct event title.
- Click Save.
