I get an EZ-Filing Start-Up Error message when I attempt to open a client file. What should I do?

In EZ-Filing > Case management > Client cases

Answer

If you have EZ-Filing already open and then try and open a client file (EZF file) outside the application, the EZF file will launch another instance of the application, and you will receive the following EZ-Filing Start-Up Error message.

To resolve this issue, do the following:

Close EZ-Filing.
Double-click the client (EZF) file to open it in EZ-Filing.
