Common problems that prevent EZ-Filing users from performing an update is that their EZ-Upkeep™ subscription is not current, or a firewall or antivirus program installed on your computer preventing you from running the update. To troubleshoot this issue, do the following.
Verify if your EZ-Upkeep subscription is current:
- In the main menu bar, click Menu>Check for Updates.
- If a message indicates that your subscription has expired, contact EZ-Filing at 1-800-998-2424 to update your EZ-Upkeep subscription.
To unblock firewalls or antivirus programs and enable the update:
- Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus program. Refer the help that comes with your firewall or antivirus software for more information.
- Update to the latest version of EZ-Filing.
- Re-enable your firewall or antivirus program. Refer the help that comes with your firewall or antivirus software for more information.
