EZ-Filing provides a handy calculator as an on-screen version of the basic pocket calculator. You can access this calculator from any client file and enter any calculated amount directly into an active field. You can also run and print a tape of multiple operations.

1. To open the calculator, press the short-cut key you have assigned for the Calculator preferences. The default setting is F2.
2. To calculate a value and place it in a field, position your cursor in a field to make the field active, and do any of the following:

To…	Do…
Enter a number in the display	Click the number on the keypad.
Perform a calculation on the number	Click an operator on the keypad.
Erase the last item entered	Click .
Clear the calculation and start over	Click CE.
Run a tape	Click to open a calculation tape pane. Use the keypad to enter each calculation. To print the tape, click . To clear the tape and start over, click .
Close the calculator and place the calculation in the active field	Click .
Close the calculator without placing the amount in the active field	Click .

3. Click to exit the Calculator.
