EZ-Filing® typically sends out minor software releases every 30-60 days. You can view an approximate date for the next update, using the Preferences window.
However, to facilitate the process, you can set your preferences to automatically prompt you of any releases that will update your installation.
1. In the main menu bar, click System>Preferences.
2. In the Preferences window:
- In the Options list, select Software Updates.
- In the Automated EZ-Filing Software Updates area, specify when you want to be updated:

- Select one of the first two options in the list.
- Specify how frequently you want the updates and whether you to run the updates when you start or exit EZ-Filing.

- Select Prompt for Update every.
- Specify how frequently you want the updates and whether you to run the updates when you start or exit EZ-Filing.

3. Click
OK to save them and close the window.
