For Married Individual or Joint filings, you can specify whether the ownership on assets schedules and the liability on liabilities schedules is left blank or automatically shown as Community (in community-property states) and as Joint (in non-community-property states). You can also specify whether paycheck information from Form B22 is to be included on Schedule I.

1. In the main menu bar, click System>Preferences.
2. In the Preferences window, in the Options list, select Entry Defaults.
3. In the Entry Defaults area:

• Under Assets Schedules: Ownership, select the default ownership selection you want EZ-Filing to make.
• Under Liabilities Schedules: Liability, select the default liability selection you want EZ-Filing to make.
• If you want to include the paycheck information from Form B22 on Schedule I, check-mark Integrate B22 paycheck entry with Schedule I employment.

4. Click OK to save your work and close the window.
