Question
You can recalculate the estimated Chapter 7 trustee fee if you are not satisfied with the amount.
- In the main menu, select Client>Chapter 13 Plan>Worksheet/Calculator.
- In the Chapter 13 Worksheet, select the Ch 7 Reconciliation tab.
- Click
next to the Estimated Chapter 7 administrative expense line to open the Chapter 7 Trustee Fee(s) window. Note: The default values displayed in this window are set for 11 USC § 326. - In the Trustee Fee Percentage area, edit the values, as needed.
Note: To reset the values to their default settings, click USC § 326. - In the Trustee Fee Minimum box, enter the minimum amount due the trustee regardless of the plan calculations.
- In the +/– Adjustment box, do one of the following:
- To add an amount to the calculated trustee fee, enter the amount.
- To subtract an amount from the calculated trustee fee, enter a negative amount.
- Click OK to save your work and close the window.
The adjusted trustee fee amount displays in the Estimated Chapter 7 administrative expenses line.
