You can import names and addresses information from a spreadsheet file if you first save the spreadsheet as a CSV file. And, if you have EZ-Street™ installed, as names and addresses are imported into EZ-Filing, EZ-Street verifies each address and makes corrections as needed.

Note: For more information on saving a spreadsheet as a CSV file, see the help that comes with your spreadsheet software.

1. In the main menu bar, select File>Import>CSV File to open the Import window.
2. Browse for the CSV file you want to import.

• In the Import File field, click .
• Select the file to import, then click Open.
  The Open window closes, the file path you selected appears in the Import File field, and the Detected Columns displays the titles of the columns in the CSV file you want to import.

1. In the Import To list, select System Names and Addresses to specify the import destination.
   The Detected Columns in Import File and Field Association columns redisplay based on the import destination.
2. To set up for import, do the following:

Field	Action
Import File	Double-click the button next to this field, find the CSV file from which you want to import names and addresses, select the file, and click Open.
Import To	Select System Names and Addresses.
Detected Columns in Import File	Note whether the columns listed here are column headings in the CSV file or actual names and addresses.
First record is column header	If the columns listed in the Detected Columns… field are column headings in the CSV file, check-mark this box (so the column headings won't be imported as if they were names and addresses) are actual names and addresses in the CSV file, do not check-mark this box
Field Associations	Use this area to map the detected columns to the corresponding ("associated") columns in the system names and addresses: To associate a column with a field, select the column in the Detected Columns in Import File list, then select a Field Association in the Names and Addresses list, and click . To disassociate a field from a column, select a field in the Names and Addresses list, and click .
Also add...	No action required for importing names and addresses. This field only applies when importing other types of client information.

1. Click Start to import the file.
