How do I enter Claim information for liabilities?

In EZ-Filing > Liabilities
In EZ-Filing > Schedule D
In EZ-Filing > Schedule E
In EZ-Filing > Schedule F

Answer

Use this information to fill in or edit in the fields on the Claim tab in the Add Liability or Edit Liability window. This tab appears for all cases and all types of claims.

Field	Action	Effect
Liability	For Individual (married) or Joint filings, select who is liable for the claim. For other filings, leave the field blank.	Determines whether H, W, J, or C appears in the corresponding column on Schedule D, E, or F.
Special	For Individual … or Joint filings, select the liability type, if applicable.	The amount of claims of the selected type is included in the total amounts in the Statistical Summary of Certain Liabilities.
Account #	Enter the account number associated with the liability.	The number you enter appears in the Account No. box on Schedule D, E, or F.
Is claim?	Check-mark all the claim conditions that apply.	For each box you check-mark, an X appears in the corresponding column on Schedule D, E, or F. For Chapter 11 cases, this selection also appears in column 4 in the List of Creditors Holding 20 Largest Unsecured Claims.
Claim Amt	Enter the amount of the claim. If the amount of the claim cannot be shown as a number, enter $0.00, then, check-mark Print as: and type a description of the claim amount. (To show the amount as “unknown”, type unknown.)	This value appears in the AMOUNT OF CLAIM … column of Schedule D, E, or F.
Date Claim was Incurred …	Enter the date the claim was incurred plus the additional information requested by the full name of the field. For the supported date formats, see Enter Dates in the Related reference below.	The text you enter appears in the DATE CLAIM WAS INCURRED … column of Schedule D, E, or F.
