When you purchase a Basic or Professional package of EZ-Filing®, you have the option of installing EZ-Filing on multiple computers in the same office using the same license code, as long as you set up the computers to access a common directory on a shared network that stores the EZF client files.
With this type of installation, only one user can access a client file at any given time. If you want to enable multiple users to work on the same client file at the same time, you need to purchase the
Network Pro package.
- Install EZ-Filing on all computers, using the same license code.

- On a shared network, create a common directory to store the EZF client files for all users to access.
For example: N:\Shared\EZ-Filing Clients
- Reset the directory preferences on each computer to point to the common data directory where the EZF client files are stored. See How do I set preferences for data directories? for more information.
