Question
You can back up a single client case to another directory or server. Depending on your preference settings, this process can be executed from the File menu or the EZ-Manage™ window.
- To open the Back Up Client File window, do one of the following:
- If you are using the default setup for case management:
- If you have set your preferences to use Case Management:
- Select the client file you want to back up in the EZ-Manage window.
- Click Backup in the left menu bar.
- To back up a client file, do the following:
- In the Backup drive list, select the drive or server to which you want to back up the currently opened file (displayed in the Client File box), and click OK.
If a client file corresponding to the backup file already exists in your Active Clients directory, a confirmation message appears. - Click Yes to replace the existing file.
A final message appears confirming the backup. - Click OK again to back up the
<client name>.ezz file to the specified location.
